Yuma Valley Rod & Gun Club
Today, at over 500 members strong, the Yuma Valley Rod & Gun Club remains an influential organization striving to protect the heritage for sportsman of all ages

The Yuma Women's Reel and Rifle Club
Purpose:   The purpose of the club is to conserve and restore fish and other wildlife and its habitat in Yuma County and to procue better fishing and hunting for sportsmen, to cooperate in obtaining proper respect for, and observation of the fish and game laws, to promote good sportsmanship afield and to conduct themselves as an example of good safe sportsmanship, and to respect the property rights of others and pass onto their heirs the joy and priveledges of a better outdoors.
Membership:   Yuma Women's Reel & Rifle Club is open to any and all ladies and their younger gals who are interested in hunting, fishing, and/or the shooting sports.  Annual dues are $20 for ladies and $10 for youngsters.  From mid year until Dec 31st dues are reduced by half.
Meetings:   The club gets together for its regualr meeting on the fourth (4th) thursday of every month at 6:30PM.  Meetings are held in the American Legion Hall, Auxilary Room.  The meetings are open to any interested ladies and their daughters.
Events:  

  • Fishing events are held for members such as catfish derbies.  
  • Hunting contests are also un fduring legal hunting season for those lucky enough to be drawn for the various hunts.  
  • Annual boards are also run for bass, catfish, and stripers.  (You must have been a member for atleast ten (10) days to weigh in a fish.)
  • Pistol shooting program introduced in 2006 for interested ladies.

US ANGLER's CHOICE No longer offers tournaments in Yuma. They are still having a full schedule in Lake Havasu.

Working Man's Bass Club does wednesday evening tournaments during the summer. Check at local shops for the schedule to come out.
